Privacy Policy

General Information
The protection of your personal data is of particular importance to us. We therefore process your data exclusively in accordance with legal requirements (GDPR, TKG). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in connection with our website. According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), personal data refers to any data that can be used to personally identify you.

Contact Us
If you contact us via the form on our website or by email, we will store the information you provide for six months to process your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this information without your consent.

Data Storage
Please note that, to facilitate online shopping and for subsequent contract processing, the IP address of the internet connection owner is stored via cookies, along with the buyer’s name, address, email address, and selected payment method.

The data you provide is necessary for the performance of the contract or for the implementation of precontractual measures. Without this data, we cannot enter into a contract with you for the purchase of gift certificates or tickets. Data is not transferred to third parties, with the exception of payment data, which is transferred to the processing banks or payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, as well as to our tax advisor to fulfill our tax obligations.

If the purchase process is canceled, the data we have stored will be deleted. If a contract is concluded, all data related to the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiration of the tax-law retention period (7 years). Data processing is carried out in accordance with the legal provisions of Section 165(3) of the German Telecommunications Act (TKG) as well as Article 6(1)(a) (consent) and/or (b) (necessary for the performance of a contract) of the GDPR.

Cookies
Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device via your browser. They do not cause any harm. We use cookies to make our website user-friendly and to ensure the functionality of our online store. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.

Technically necessary cookies are set based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in ensuring that the website functions properly. Non-essential cookies (e.g., for analytics or marketing purposes) are only activated after you have given your explicit consent via our cookie consent banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you disable technically necessary cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

To manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and related consents, we use the consent tool “Real Cookie Banner”. Details on how “Real Cookie Banner” works can be found at https://devowl.io/rcb/data-processing/.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data in this context are Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.

The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consents.

Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

This service allows you to manage website tags through a user interface. Google Tag Manager itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-free domain and generally does not collect any personal data. The service merely triggers other tags (such as Google Analytics or Matomo), which may in turn collect data.

However, Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivation has been performed at the domain or cookie level, it remains in effect for all tracking tags implemented using Google Tag Manager. We use Google Tag Manager based on our legitimate interest in the convenient and centralized management of various scripts on our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Google Analytics
If you have given your consent, this website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie is generally transmitted to a Google server and stored there. This may also involve the transfer of data to Google LLC in the United States.

Data processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We have enabled the IP anonymization feature on this website. As a result, your IP address is truncated and pseudonymized by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission. We have entered into a corresponding data processing agreement with the provider. User data is retained for a period of 14 months. You may revoke your consent at any time via our cookie banner.

Newsletter
You have the option to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this, we need your email address and your confirmation that you agree to receive the newsletter. To prevent the misuse of email addresses, we use the double opt-in procedure: After registering, we will send you a confirmation email with a link. Your registration is only complete after clicking on this link.

You can cancel your newsletter subscription at any time. Please send your cancellation request to the following email address: info@therme-zillertal.at, or use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter. We will then immediately delete your data related to the newsletter.

SSL or TLS encryption
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential information, such as bookings, payments, or inquiries that you send to us as the website operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar. When encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information About Our Social Media Presence (Meta / Facebook)
We maintain an online presence on Facebook (at https://www.facebook.com/erlebnistherme.zillertal/). This service is provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland (or Meta Platforms Inc., Menlo Park, California, USA). When you interact with our Facebook page (e.g., likes, comments, or messages), we process your data based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or to handle your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Please note that when you visit the platform, Meta processes personal data for its own analytical and advertising purposes and sets cookies that track your usage behavior across devices. We have no influence over Meta’s further processing of this data. For data transfers to the U.S., Meta relies on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission as well as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (provided that valid certification is in place). For more details, please see Meta’s Privacy Policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

Your Rights
You generally have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, withdrawal, and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you may file a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority (Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna).
